The drinks were actually nice, so that part was enjoyable. The food was just kind of average though, nothing I’d really go out of my way for. This is where it got annoying: I kept hoping the meal would get better as it went on, but it never really did. Not a terrible experience, just not especially memorable.

"Good day out, but the updates were a bit odd"
I went to a Goodwood event and overall had a decent time. The actual day was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and helpful, so no major complaints there. The communication beforehand was a bit hit and miss though. Some of the info came through quite late, and I ended up checking the website a few times myself just to confirm things like timings and parking. That part was weird, because it felt like the basics should’ve been clearer in the emails. Not a disaster by any means, but they could definitely make the pre-event info easier to follow.

From where we were sitting, I felt like we had a solid view of the track most of the day. It wasn’t perfect every second, but overall I was happy with our spot

"Such a lovely, easy stay at Goodwood"
We had such a lovely stay at Goodwood. The room was really clean, super comfy, and I slept brilliantly both nights, which almost never happens when I’m away. The staff were genuinely nice too, not that forced kind of polite, just friendly and helpful. My only complaint, if I can even call it that, is that we didn’t stay longer. Why do the relaxing trips always go by way too fast? It was all just calm, easy, and exactly what we needed.

"Kind of a hassle"
It took forever just to get in and then even longer to leave. The parking situation didn’t seem very organized, and the traffic around there was rough. Not sure if it’s always like that or just the day I went, but it definitely made the whole thing more frustrating than expected.

I went to goodwood and didn’t expect the seating to be that comfortable. We were sat there for ages, and you know how usually after a while your back starts aching at events? Didn’t really get that at all. There was plenty of space too, so you’re not all crammed in next to everyone. It just made the whole day feel a lot more relaxed. I’d definitely go again.

"Looked nice, but felt a bit off"
I went to Goodwood expecting a bit more of a lively atmosphere, but it felt flat. The venue itself looks good, so I’ll give them that, but there was this stiff vibe that didn’t feel especially welcoming. Some spots were packed while others were oddly empty, which made the whole place feel a bit unbalanced. Maybe it was just the day I went, but it kind of seemed like more effort went into appearances than making the experience actually enjoyable. I didn’t really feel relaxed or like I was having a fun day out, so I probably wouldn’t hurry back.

"Nice event, but the crowds really got to me"
I went to goodwood on a busy weekend, and while I was looking forward to it, the crowds definitely took the shine off the day a bit. Getting in wasn’t too bad, but once we were inside, it felt like we were constantly shuffling along instead of actually enjoying things properly.
Some spots were manageable, but anywhere near the food stands or the main viewing areas got packed so quickly. The queues felt longer than they should’ve been, and it was frustrating having to plan around where the crowds were building up all the time.
The event itself was still good, and I’m glad I went, but I came away thinking more about how crowded it was than anything else. It would’ve been a much better day if they’d controlled the numbers better or made more room for people to spread out

"Way too complicated with a screen reader"
I tried booking tickets on the site, but using it with my screen reader was frustrating. The menus kept jumping around, some buttons didn’t have proper labels, and I kept thinking, why is this so complicated? I just wanted to buy tickets, but the whole process felt messy and harder than it needed to be

"Good stuff, just wish there was more choice"
I’m a fan of Goodwood and was hoping to pick up some merch, but maybe it’s just me, the selection felt a bit limited. There were a few nice designs, but not a huge amount to choose from, especially if you’re after something a bit more casual.
The prices seemed okay overall, though I did expect a bit more variety in sizes and styles. It’s not bad by any means, I just didn’t find much that really grabbed me this time. I’d probably check back another day to see if they add more.

We went as a family, and from actually spending the day there, I’d say it looks nicer than it feels when you’ve got young kids with you. Getting around with a buggy was awkward in a few places, which made the whole visit feel more tiring than I expected.
The queues were long, the food was expensive, and there didn’t seem to be loads for younger children unless you were willing to pay extra. My kids lost interest quite quickly, so we ended up feeling like we were trying to fill the time rather than really enjoying it.
The staff weren’t rude or anything, but they also didn’t go out of their way to help. I can see it maybe working better for adults or older kids, but based on our experience, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back with little ones.

"Felt Like I Was Bothering Them"
I asked the staff for help, and maybe I caught them at a bad time or something, but they seemed really annoyed that I even asked. I kept wondering if I was being unclear, but they weren’t very helpful at all and it left me frustrated.

I had a small issue with my order, but to be fair, they sorted it out quickly. The replies were friendly and there wasn’t any messing about, which I appreciated. Still, I was kind of expecting a simple apology for the hassle. Overall, I’d probably use them again.

"Felt like they were stretching it out"
I went in thinking there’d be a decent bit of entertainment, but the lineup felt thin. There was a lot of standing around waiting and not much happening in between, almost like they were trying to drag the night out so people would keep buying drinks or snacks. It just didn’t really hold our attention, and by the end we were ready to go. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back.

"Mostly Fine, Just Wish It Felt a Bit Cleaner"
The place was mostly tidy overall, so it wasn’t a bad visit or anything. I just noticed the toilets and a few seating areas could’ve used a bit more attention, which made me second-guess things a little. I’m sure it might’ve just been a busy day, but I would’ve felt more comfortable if those areas had been cleaner.

I booked through goodwood and it was all straightforward, to be honest. The pages loaded fine and I didn’t really have to hunt around too much to find the tickets I needed. Payment went through first time, and the confirmation email showed up fairly quickly, which is always a bit of a relief. Whole thing only took a few minutes or so. Nice, simple booking experience and I’d use it again

"Honestly, the signs were a joke"
I don’t know who thought those signs were helpful, but wow, they were useless. We spent half the day wandering around like idiots because nothing pointed us in the right direction. It really shouldn’t be that hard to make basic directions clear.
